SIRES & Donors

The cattle behind our program matter. At Nixon Family Farms, our sire and donor selections are made with the goal of creating consistent, functional cattle that combine phenotype with meaningful genetic value.

These are some of the individuals helping shape the direction of our Red Angus and SimGenetic programs.

Sires

The bulls we use have a job to do. We select sires for their ability to complement our cow herd while adding the traits we believe create value for our customers.

Our sire selection emphasizes performance, structural integrity, phenotype and genetic merit, with the ultimate goal of making each generation better than the last.

Our Foundation Females

Donors

Great cattle programs are built around great females.

The donor battery at Nixon Family Farms represents cow families we believe can make a lasting impact on our program. These females are selected for a combination of phenotype, production, maternal strength and genetic potential.

We believe consistency starts with the cow. Our donors earn their place not only through what they are themselves, but through their ability to repeatedly produce the kind of cattle we want carrying the NFF name.
